Malvern walking and reminiscing on the old school days

Well got up quite early this morning seeing as most days i am awake around 4. Decided I'm not going to just sit at home so thought I would have a walk... Where better to go than the Malverns were I used to go to school... I parked at the Holywell which still looks the same as ever.... The water is amazing walked up the side then around towards the quarry... I got to the zigzag and though I want to see if i can remember where jacobs ladder was... so I found the top..... :)
I will tell you what i just walked up that hill :)

These are 2 panoramic photos i dont know how they came out the top one was british camp the second one was me halfway up the hill i thought id go from one side to the other but i got alot of the hill in :) and the path opps

As I was walking back down this caught my eye.... as I am sure it would anyone in a vastness of greens and browns there is this beautiful flaming red......
(shaky hands alert) :)

These are the pixy steps theres about 150 I remember when i was around 9 or 10 running down these steps as they were quite close together it was easy to judge the step....
Unfortunately for me I was actually walking up these steps. thank god for little favors as there was a bench half way.... with no water & my wallet in my car I had to have a rest.... It was a very soothing experience taking in the beauty of the wood and listening to the birds... I could have stopped there all day.
I then walked up to the witch  cutting again very good memories here this is where I had my first fireball gob-stopper.
I then walked on from there past the slide and back towards the school which was one of the routes I would have taken when i was little. I did try and see if i could get a photo of the slide but because I was a little thirsty I just couldn't concentrate on where it used to be.
really poor picture i have taken better mebe next time :)
